From Sports Antiques:
A very well made limited edition Pashley bicycle, hand built, and finished to the highest standard. The bike is a Limited Edition Guv’nor Plus Four, limited to 50 made of which this is No. 25. The Guv’nor Plus Four features a Reynolds ‘531’ frame with brass plated lugs, a Sachs Duomatic rear hub and Speed Drive front chain wheel (providing the four gears the title alludes to). There is a spring bell and Brooks leather bar tape and a B17 titanium railed honey saddle to finish the classic look.
William ‘Rath’ Pashley founded the company in 1926, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, and from that moment Pashley has embraced the needs and aspirations of its customers and hand-build a unique range of specialist bicycles and tricycles. It is that commitment and the attention to detail that has earned Pashley its enviable position as Britain’s most exclusive cycle manufacturer, with sales to discerning customers in over 50 countries.
