Photographer Andrew Paynter is my friend and neighbor. When I saw this video he directed for NYC based women’s fashion line Chance. Typically, I focused immediately on the green Jaguar E-Type. He was kind enough to send over some extra photos he shot of this classic automobile.

About the video:
“Saturday,” our favorite day of the week and the source of inspiration for our Summer 2012 California collection, captures the color palette of the Golden State’s water, desert, and sky, and the Chance appreciation for nature, independence, and adventure. The project was a collaboration between director Andrew Paynter and creative director Julia Leach. They were joined by Trilby Hamner, the Chance Girl, and DP Will Dearborn, who was assisted by Michael Caparelli. Once again, Emily Spiegelman of Consulate Films edited the footage into a fluid, cinematic whole. The pitch perfect track, “Diagonally Talking Echo,” was contributed by Dustin Wong, who is represented by Thrill Jockey Records.
