Visually-tasty morsels delivered fresh everyday. On today’s menu: Mini Day at Brooklands, Tank Moto Magazine Launch, Bell & Ross Aviation Collection, and photos from Daniel Simon.
Daniel Simon has being working in the Hollywood film industry since 2008. Directors he collaborated with include Joe Kosinski, Ridley Scott and Joe Johnston. Most notable are Simon’s contributions to Disney’s Tron: Legacy (Vehicle Concept Designer), Disney’s Tron Uprising TV Show (Lead Vehicle Designer) and Marvel’s Captain America (Lead Vehicle Designer). Simon carries his designs from sketches, to 3D development to the final set builds in strong collaboration with production designers, art directors, set designers and manufactures. Simon was recently attached to Oblivion at Universal.
Bell & Ross and its iconic BR01 Aviation collection has a few new instruments this year: the Heading Indicator, Airspeed and Climb. Limited to 999 pieces only, although the first 99 pieces are only available in a collector’s box that also contains the BR 01 HORIZON, ALTIMETER and TURN COORDINATOR (introduced in 2012). So basically, there are 900 pieces for sale if you don’t fancy this collector’s box.
Tank Moto Magazine official launch party was on last night on 25th May at Gasolina, Melbourne. It was a great meet up to celebrate the launch of an Australian based magazine about custom motorcycles. I missed out on my free copy which went out to the first 100 visitors but there was still plenty to enjoy. There were so many gorgeous bikes there and a great collection of builders, painters, mechanics and enthusiasts. Check out and support this great magazine, which hopefully signals the ever growing custom bike scene in Melbourne.
Breaking Bad…you cannot start the last episodes soon enough. I better call Saul.
