Nice Velocette LE. Saw this two-toned looker on Throttle Yard.
About this Velocette LE:
The Velocette LE (which stands for “Little Engine”) was the result of 20 years of development with the focus being on ease of use, quietness, weather protection, simple controls, economy and reliability. From these design constraints emerged the most radical machine of the day. It is powered by a 192cc, water-cooled, four-stroke, side-valve, flat-twin engine. It has a 3-speed hand-shift gear box, and a hand-pull starter lever instead of a kick-starter. Too cool! This little charmer has been completely restored and is in stunning condition. It fires right up and plonks down the road as happy as can be.
