Considered by many car experts to be the most beautiful Alfa Romeo ever made. I have to disagree with the experts – I think it’s the the most beautiful car ever made period. Let us know what you think is the most beautiful vintage car you’ve ever laid your eyes on. (And why).
“I don’t know of many designs that still look fresh at the cusp of fifty years. This Alfa still turns heads. Someone get me out of here before I say something embarrassing…like the Stradale is the most luscious thing with curves to come out of Italy since Sophia Loren.”
From Auto Injected: Essentially a road-legal version of Alfa’s Tipo 33 mid-engined racecar, the limited-run Stradale cost the equivalent of $17,000 when it was summoned upon the gazing eyes of the motoring world in ’67. That was astronomical money back then and as a result, Alfa struggled to find buyers for their luxuriously appointed, mid-engined Supercar that was carefully built by hand alongside their racing cars.
