Saw these adidas on end. (Kind of ironic, since Jordan was an adidas fan growing up…of course before he signed with Nike). Anyways, this got me to thinking about some of Jordan’s greatest dunks. Nice little video compilation of some of his most memorable slams.

The Rivarly Lo was one of the 80’s most recognizable low top basketball ball sneakers, with Patrick Ewing wearing it’s hightop counterpart as one of his adi-signatures. Adidas Consortium have decided to make the Rivalry Lo their latest move, releasing it in two original colourway’s from 1986.The first is the instantly recognizable New York Knicks home-court look, that features orange and blue accents. The second is based on the away look of the Chicago Bulls, who prevented the Knicks gaining the NBA title during the late 80’s, which features predominately black uppers with red accents.
“I still remember reading the Sports Illustrated article about rookies coming into the NBA in 1984. It was predicted that Michael Jordan from UNC could be the best player since Oscar Robertson and Jerry West came into the Association. Yep, I kind of think he lived up to that prediction.”
