1970 Plymouth Road Runner Super Bird :: via Straight Speed
Original sticker price back in 1970: around $4,300.
From Wikipedia: The Superbird’s styling proved to be a little extreme for 1970 tastes (many customers preferred the regular Road Runner), and as a consequence, many of the 1,920 examples built sat unsold on the back lots of dealerships as late as 1972. Some were converted into 1970 Road Runners to move them off the sales lot. In recent years, however, the Superbird has become quite valuable. A Superbird can fetch anywhere from US$300,000 to US$2,000,000. .

Blitz Customs Garage & Edwin Denim Co.
About this collaboration: The collection is non-seasonal, and non-trend led. It is a study into the intuitive nature of denim and the pre-requisites placed upon clothing used by those who live, work, and thrive alongside their bikes. Both Fred & Hugo, founders of Blitz, have specific daily routines that impose definite requirements on their garments that demand versatility and durability as core principles. Using Premium Japanese denim exclusively spun for Edwin Europe, the pieces have been cut to incorporate subtle functional details, such as black dyed pocket bags to aid in the concealment of oil stains from your hands, and military herringbone fabric reinforcements at stress points.
