The first Adi shoes to be made in Germany in fifty years. I had this romantic illusion that all adidas sneakers were still made in Germany by elves with tiny fingers. (Tiny Fingers…also my imaginary band name).

From endclothing UK:
The latest, highly limited release from Adidas Consortium is a recreation of the famous München silhouette, a trainer much loved and coveted by Adidas fans over the years. The Made In Germany München sees Adidas go back to basics, paying homage to their roots by making this the first Adi shoe to be made in Germany for 50 years. Each pair is handmade in the Adidas factory in Scheinfeld, Germany from premium suede and leather, exactly as per the original release, right down to the colourway, and even the box.
