Offered by Bonhams. A beautiful beast of a machine. What can I say…this Brough is my idea of perfect, full of wear-and-tear and ready for a major restoration. Let’s hope someone rides this bad-boy every once in awhile – it wasn’t built for the cold storage of a museum.

From Bonhams
Quite what George Brough’s father – Nottingham-based motorcycle manufacturer William Edward Brough – thought when his younger son cheekily added the word ‘Superior’ to the family name when founding his rival marque can only be imagined, but it’s thanks to this act of youthful bravado that we have one of the greatest and most-evocative names in motorcycling
