From Spirited Automobiles:
Here we have an original “Fire Engine” Red (DB 534) Gullwing (not one of the many painted this colour in the 1980s and 90s). It was originally a US delivery, sold first to Theodore Delaware. It was bought several owners later by a German, who took the car with him to Dusseldorf and had it restored by, we are told, Klaus Kienle. There he had the European tail lights installed. He also kept the car in red, but changed the interior from black to creme beige. Kienle also sourced a set of matching luggage. The rudge wheels are an original period set, but were not originally sold with this car from the factory.
