From Chris:

Just like what Craig had mentioned. This was one of our first projects during our last year in college. We we’re asked to design and build in 3d a board track racer. Here’s a quick little backstory for my bike…

1915 Harley Davidson 11J chopped up for board track racing, with an F-head 61cubic-inch (989cc) V-twin engine.

This bike is purchased and raced by Jacques Parker, the first black pilot in history. He was an American volunteer for the French Air Force during the Great War. He was then demoted by the US Air Services to a mechanic when the Americans joined the war due to his skin color. After the war, Parker found himself racing motorcycles to satisfy his thrill of flying.
