Ulfert from Speedstar Gallery just sent me the latest work from Markus Haub – including a special edition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911.
“There’s a certain non-pretty-boy look and feel to Markus Haub’s signature work. Layers of perfect imperfections that make you take notice of something different in each piece.”

“It always starts with a photo. Then on the computer I continue to work digitally on it. I cut and crop it to get the composition, apply effects, ad or change color, and text. Then I print it on paper and make a collage on the canvas. Now the manual process starts with paint, pencils or varnish. It’s a game of creation and destruction and creation again.”
