“Self-training enabled me to develop a unique style filled with peculiar relationships between scale and proportion mixed with an odd sense of perspective.”

We’ve shown Tim Hooper’s work here before. Glad to see he gave Joe Frazier some due and respect in this painting.
“Smokin” Joe Frazier :: Original Mr. Hooper Art – 2011
This painting is a tribute to the great heavyweight champion of the world, Smokin’ Joe Frazier. In the foreground there is a portrait of Joe’s long-time nemesis Muhammad Ali. You will also notice a boxing-glove, an alarm clock, a radio, and the Liberty Bell. In the center of the painting on a make-shift wooden stage (the sort you might see an old-time politician or a snake oil salesman use) is the Smokin’ Joe himself.
